Vampiric ‘older brother’ of Reinardus. Since his Sire first expressed interest in Reinardus, Ysengrimus opposed Reinardus’ unlife. Ysengrimus argued that Reinardus was too weak, a twig of a man, who depended on his silver tongue because he couldn’t possibly hold his own in anything physical. But, where Ysengrimus only saw weaknesses his sire only saw strengths and embraced Reinardus after an unexpectedly long hunt. Afterward, their sire began to adopt Reinardus’ deviation from traditional Gangrel behavior and values. Living in the cities, socializing with others, actively participating in politics, and so on. These changes irritated Ysengrimus until he found them unbearable and parted ways with his brother and sire.
When the newfound love of intrigue resulted in their sire’s Final Death, Ysengimus blamed Reinardus. Convinced his brother had somehow planned it all, Ysengrimus devoted himself to ending his brother’s unlife.
After centuries of hunting Reinardus and trying to convince others of he orchestrated some grand scheme to get their sire killed, Ysengrimus ended up the victim of just such a scheme and was killed in a blood hunt.
His progeny joined Sabbat after failing to prove his innocence, disregarded for making the same claims their sire made for centuries.
